I am a wood shop instructor in VT at a sleep away camp. I wear my Texas Canvas 8-9 hours a day and it is comfortable, protects my clothing, and holds all of the tools I use most over the course of the day in the perfect spots. I was gifted one about three years ago. As a CNC machinist I always carry a 6'' ruler, pen, small note pad,, Sharpie, pencil, carbide scriber and mints/gum or gummies. Have been asked by some co-workers where did I get it or if would be willing to sell it. I say it's not for sale. If I could change a few thinhgs it would be an angle on the two lower pockets. To be a more natural in and out for the hands. Also a cell phone pocket on the inside of the apron with an angle and also with the button strap.

I am really impressed with this apron. I'm an apprentice in a family owned precision grinding shop which means I get the dirty jobs and sometimes make a mess of the clean ones. I love the buckle and fervently hate tie strings. I'm amazed how difficult it was to track this specific feature down in a good work apron. Some aprons, like Duluth Trading Company's firehose apron (bought and immediately returned, its also made in China), the pockets are super close to the edges of the apron.... where I don't want my messy hands and tools. That DTC apron was also not adjustable in size down to me; I'm 6'1 180 lbs and that apron at its absolute tightest could've fit another small person whereas the Texas Canvas Wares apron is fully adjustable and fits great even wearing kind of high like I do. After a month or so this apron is legitimately all day comfortable with a few tools and stuff in the pockets with the shoulder pads supporting the load. I really do like this product.
